These pictures were taken at an old Confederate Soldier Graveyard. Back durring the Civil War over 300 confederate soldiers were taken as prisoners and kept in a prison on an island in Lake Erie. 200 + bodies have been located in the cemetary, many of them still don't have headstones, and many are marked Unknown. Over the years with advanced technology many of the soldiers have been identified but have not recived new headstones.
For only ONE dollar you can drive out to the island and look at all the massive beach houses and the cute little cemetary. The money is used to help identify the remaining bodies.
